Our Story
Our founder Scott began his career in construction at 16, working on both commercial and residential projects around Australia. As Scott grew in experience and confidence, he began to see many problems with the project-builder method.
To combat these problems on his own terms, Scott launched HBC in 2014. The company is built on the principles of transparency, clarity and fixed-price solutions.

Vani joined in 2018, after many years working internationally for large companies. These experiences taught Vani the importance of controlling budgets and maintaining good communication flows, which made him the perfect match for Scott’s vision.
Scott and Vani have made quality and tireless improvement the two signature traits of HBC Homes. They ensure quality by keeping the company small, personal and focused, with a pledge to never build more than 25 homes per year.

Our Team
Vani and Scott like to keep the HBC Homes team as tight as possible, so that every customer has a personal and comprehensive building experience.
Vani will be there to guide you through the Discovery, Design and Detail stages of our six-step process, with Scott on hand to offer technical feedback on all plans.

Once the contracts are signed and building begins, Vani oversees from the office and is on hand for any queries regarding your selections, while Scott will be your key contact for site works, supervising your Construction and Completion stages.
You won’t have to deal with unfamiliar faces or impersonal communications: Scott and Vani will be happy to guide you every step of the way.
